We are in Al-Seraj Islamic Bank (SIB), focused on delivering optimized banking services in accordance with Islamic Sharia principles. We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team for roles in the Banking industry who have training or experience in the Libyan finance and banking sector.

About the Position - عن الوظيفة

Location: Benghazi

Department: Information Technology (IT)

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions.

Build and support system integrations, APIs, and middleware between CBS and other banking platforms.

Design, optimize, and support relational databases, including SQL queries, procedures, and performance tuning.

Prepare technical documentation, system reviews, and improvement proposals.

Perform testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Provide production support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.

Ensure compliance with IT governance, security standards, and Central Bank of Libya regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.

2–4 years of experience in software development (banking, fintech, or enterprise environments preferred).

Technical Skills

Full-stack or backend development experience.

Proficiency in one or more of the following: Laravel (PHP), Node.js, Java, Go, C# (.NET).

Strong SQL and relational database skills (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

Experience with APIs and system integrations (REST/SOAP).

Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript); frontend frameworks are a plus.

Familiarity with Git and basic CI/CD concepts.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to understand business processes and communicate technical solutions clearly.

Good technical documentation and reporting skills.

Team-oriented with effective communication in Arabic and English.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
